Why This Box Exists
Most burger boxes are white. This one isn't. The natural bagasse burger box is pressed from raw sugarcane fiber and left unbleached. No whitening agent. No dye. The color is whatever the fiber gives – a warm cream with visible texture, slightly different from one production run to the next.
That difference is the selling point. Customers who order a burger in a natural bagasse burger box can see the material came from a plant. It doesn't look like a chemical product. It looks like what it is.
The box is 152 × 152 × 77 mm. It holds a single or double burger with fries in the same container. The lid and base are pressed as one piece, connected by a living hinge. The front tab clicks shut and stays shut through delivery. After the meal, the 6 inch unbleached clamshell goes into compost and breaks down in 60 to 90 days.
What the Box Is Made Of
Sugarcane fiber, cleaned and dried, not bleached. That's the entire material list.
The living hinge is pressed thinner than the walls so it folds without cracking. The base is pressed at 1.2 mm, the side walls at 1.0 mm. The base is denser because the burger's weight sits there. The lid is lighter because it only needs to hold shape, not load.
The front lock tab is a press-fit design. It clicks into the slot and stays engaged until the customer lifts it. The interior is smooth – no ridges where grease can collect. The 6 inch unbleached clamshell weighs 22 g ± 0.5 g. The variance comes from natural fiber density, not from inconsistent molding.
